Eligibility Requirements of Fishery Scheme in Assam 2024-25

- A minimum landholding of 1.33 hectares (10 bighas) and a maximum of 5.33 hectares (40 bighas).
- Aquaculture ponds should cover 1 to 4 hectares.
- Project Cost:
- Estimated at ₹12.994 lakh per hectare.
- Pond Excavation:
- Beneficiaries must excavate 50% of the pond, with the remainder managed by an appointed contractor.
- Target Groups:
- Priority for SC/ST beneficiaries with a 2-hectare target area, subject to technical feasibility.
- Adoption of Technology:
- Must comply with technical packages recommended by the department.
- Other Conditions:
- Adherence to government-approved guidelines and terms.
Mandatory Documents for Application
Applicants are required to submit the following documents along with the application:
- Two recent passport-sized photographs.
- Self-attested copies of Aadhaar, Voter ID, and PAN cards.
- Self-attested copy of a bank passbook.
- Land ownership documents, including an up-to-date landholding certificate.
- GPS-tagged photographs of the land.
- For Joint Land Ownership:
- A No Objection Certificate (NOC) in the form of a Notary Affidavit.
