Pay Scale and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary under Pay Band 4:

• Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 per month
• Grade Pay: ₹13,300
• Additional allowances will be provided as per Assam State Government rules.

Eligibility Criteria of APSC AD Recruitment 2025

1. Nationality and Residency

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
• Proof of residency: A valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued for education or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate must be uploaded.

2. Educational Qualification

• A Postgraduate Degree in Planning with specialization in one of the following areas:
  • Urban Planning
  • Regional Planning
  • Town and Country Planning
  • City Planning
  • Transportation Planning
  • Housing or Infrastructure Planning
  • Environmental Planning
• The degree must be obtained from a recognized university/institution approved by UGC/AICTE/ITPI.
• Upload all semester/year mark sheets and the final pass certificate as proof.

3. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 38 years (as of 01-01-2024)

Age Relaxations:

• SC/ST: 5 years (up to 43 years)
• OBC/MOBC: 3 years (up to 41 years)
• Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 years, with further relaxation for OBC/MOBC and SC/ST candidates.
• PwBD: 10 years, regardless of category.

Note: Age proof must be provided through Class X/XII certificates or mark sheets. Other documents will not be accepted.

Additional Requirements of APSC AD Recruitment 2025

For PwBD Candidates

• Must possess a Benchmark Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority.

For Government Employees in Assam

• Upload a certificate proving employment status issued by the competent authority.
• If seeking pay protection or service continuation, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is mandatory.

Small Family Norms

• Candidates must submit a declaration complying with the Small Family Norms in Form-A during the application process.
