Salary Details
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary in Pay Band 4, including grade pay and other allowances:
- Pay Scale: ₹30,000 to ₹1,10,000 per month

Eligibility Criteria for APSC Medical Inspector Recruitment 2025
1. Nationality and Residency
- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Indian Constitution.
- Permanent residency in Assam is mandatory. Candidates must upload one of the following as proof:
- Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes
- Employment Exchange Registration Certificate
2. Educational Qualification
- A degree in Medicine (MBBS) from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding:
- Diploma in Industrial Hygiene
- Diploma in Public Health
Relevant semester-wise mark sheets and the final pass certificate must be uploaded during the application process.
3. Experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a public hospital or a factory’s medical department.
- Supporting documents proving work experience must be uploaded.
4. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years (as of January 1, 2024)
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years (up to 43 years)
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years (up to 41 years)
- Ex-Servicemen: Maximum 50 years, with further relaxation for reserved categories
- PwBD: Additional 10 years for all categories
The age calculation is based on the date of birth mentioned in Class X/XII certificates.

1. Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
- Candidates must possess a certificate issued by a competent authority to qualify under this category.
2. Government Employees
- Candidates currently employed in Assam Government services must upload a certificate proving their employment.
