Salary:
₹1,50,000/- to ₹2,00,000/- per month (inclusive of local taxes) and will be finalized and fixed during negotiations based on the qualifications and experience. TA/DA and Allowances admissible as per project norms.
Education Qualification and Other Eligibility Requirements
Essential
- Postgraduate degree or higher, ideally in Emergency Management, Disaster Management, Social Work, Social Development, Anthropology, Development Studies, or Management.
Desirable
- Ph.D. in Development Studies or Disaster Management.
- Diploma or certification in Project Management.
- Preference will be given to women, transgender, and LGBTQ candidates.
Experience:
Essential
- Total Experience: At least 15 years of proven experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluation, and managing partnerships with reputable organizations, preferably government agencies, NGOs, INGOs, donor agencies, or international organizations. Of this, a minimum of 5 years should be in Emergency Management and Incident Response Systems. For applicants with a Ph.D. in Development Studies, Emergency Management, or Disaster Management, the required minimum experience is 10 years.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including MS Office, Stata, ChatGPT, and other utility software.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with partners and donor agencies; a proactive attitude, positive outlook, and professional integrity.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and delivering high-quality, timely project outcomes, including managing complex contracts.
Desirable
- Experience in designing and implementing community capacity-building programs, including training needs assessment and module development.
- Familiarity with technology-enabled tools for disaster management, planning, and social development projects.
- Knowledge of the Assam context and conversational skills in Assamese or Bengali will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience with Externally Aided Projects.
