Under Atal Amrit Abhiyan, beneficiaries will get insurance benefits during hospitalization. The scheme covers diseases like cancer, cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases, neonatal diseases, neurological disorders, burn injuries etc. Treatment is available only in government and CGHS empaneled hospitals within the state. As on 23rd March 2020, there are huge enrollments and treatments under the scheme, 245,491 APL and 15,889,339 BPL enrollments and 85,717 treatments.Cashless Treatment

Atal Amrit Abhiyan provides health insurance coverage of up to 2 lakh per family member yearly. Launched in 2016, it covers Below Poverty Line (BPL) and Above Poverty Line (APL) families with annual income up to 5 lakh. For children below 18, the head of the family can register on their behalf. The scheme provides cashless treatment, patients will use a laminated ID card when they go for treatment.Coverage
The scheme covers all districts of Assam, treatment will be available in empaneled hospitals within Assam and major cities like Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai. For treatment outside Assam, a daily allowance of 1,000 will be provided up to 10,000. Transport allowance of 3,000 per year (300 per visit) will also be available.Administration and Implementation

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Atal Amrit Abhiyan, families must fulfill the following criteria:- Annual family income below 5 lakh.
- Excluding Central and State government employees.
- Proper documents to prove BPL or APL status.
- Residence in Assam.
Documents required
Applicants need to submit the following documents:- Voter ID card
- EPIC card
- Birth certificate for applicants below 18
- Income certificate
- Ration card under National Food Security Act
- Doctor-attested photograph of the patient
Atal Amrit Abhiyan Card Fees
