Educational Qualifications
Junior Assistant:
Candidates applying for the Junior Assistant position must be graduates in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized institution affiliated with a recognized university. Additionally, they must have proficiency in typing both Assamese and English in MS Word and possess basic knowledge of MS Excel.
Grade-IV:
For Grade-IV positions, candidates must have passed at least Class VIII from a recognized educational institution.
Age Limit
The age limit for all posts is 40 years as of January 1, 2024. However, there is age relaxation for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
This age relaxation is in accordance with the government’s guidelines, specified in OM No.ABP.6/2016/51 dated September 2, 2020.
