Educational Qualifications:

  • Essential Qualifications:

    1. A Doctorate Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, or a Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university.
    2. 12 years of experience in research and development in academic institutions, industrial sectors, or scientific organizations. Out of this, at least six years should be in a managerial capacity, particularly in science and technology program planning, development, or cooperation.
    3. Candidates should also have an educational background in one of the following fields: Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • Desirable Qualifications:

    1. Knowledge of a modern European language such as German, Russian, or Japanese in addition to English is highly desirable.
    2. A post-doctorate degree or equivalent research experience in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Technology, or Medicine with published research work in Science Citation Index (SCI) journals.
    3. Broad expertise in interdisciplinary fields with a strong focus on copyrights, intellectual property rights (IPR), patents, and scientific inventions.
